Overtime Sports Café 

The largest independently owned and operated sports-themed restaurant in the Southeast, this is one of the best spots in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to come watch the big game. Driving by the 16,000 square-foot Overtime Sports Café, you will have no doubt it’s a sports bar. Once inside, you’ll be mesmerized by the more than 150 TV's, 12-foot video wall, three 60-inch large screens, four 10-foot wide projection screens and wall-to-wall sports memorabilia with authentic autographed items. Quite literally, there isn’t a bad seat in the house to watch your favorite team. 

There is more to Overtime than just the games on TV.  Shoot some pool in the billiards room, join in on one of the many putting contests, Tuesday’s live trivia contest, Friday night karaoke party “The Big Show” and balloon animals for the kids. One of the great things about this particular sports bar is the private speaker at the tables for guests to listen to a particular game being shown on the big screens.

Menu items are organized with sporty categories such as Starting Line-Up for the appetizers. Sports bar basics such as fried mozzarella, potato skins, quesadillas and nachos are listed. Wings, of course, are served. While the buffalo chicken dip, beer battered mushrooms and jumbo stadium pretzels are favorites. Many boast about the salads, but sandwiches like the Kick’n Chick’n and Mama’s Meatloaf are what brings locals back for more. The burgers are good and the baby back ribs, fish ‘n  chips and coastal shrimp platter are loved, as well. The children’s menu includes kiddie favorites of hot dogs, grilled cheese, pizza and burgers…not to mention, their own selection of wings.
