The authentic Irish atmosphere at Flynn’s is mimicked from County Roscommon, Ireland—owner Marty’s place of birth. Beautifully located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a short walk or golf cart ride from North Myrtle Beach real estate. Sit back with a Guinness and enjoy the Irish music—sometimes live—that fills the air. The dining room, adorned with Irish memorabilia, is perfect for families.
Boasting a menu of mostly traditional Irish fare, Flynn’s offers fresh food paired with a vast selection of beer, Irish Whiskey and popular cocktails. Start off with a traditional Irish Potato Soup, cheesy crock of Irish Onion or go Lowcountry with a bowl of their She Crab Soup. A few days of the week guests are delighted to find an Irish tradition of Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner on the menu. The Tavern Favorites include Shepherds Pie, Guinness Beef Stew, Bangers and Mash, and Fish and Chips.
Sometimes, a good Irish lunch doesn’t get better than a Reuben: Home-cooked corned beef topped with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, 1000 Island dressing on grilled rye bread. Served with Flynn’s hand-cut Irish fries.
Outside of the bar at Flynn’s you will find the veranda, which seats about 15, and the beer garden, Tinker’s Retreat. Imbibe with a pint of Guinness, Flynn’s famous Half & Half, John Powers Gold Label Irish Coffee or a Hot Bunratty Meade—a traditional sweet wine, made from an ancient Irish recipe of pure honey, fruit from the vine and natural herbs.
Indulge your sweet tooth with homemade Bread Pudding and an assortment of other dessert favorites.
Fun fact: The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach Jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.
