The Norman Course at Barefoot Resort
The Norman Course at Barefoot Resort boasts seven holes along the Intracoastal Waterway. Designed by Greg Norman, this North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina golf course features enhance the beauty of its natural vistas. Resembling a course found in America’s Southwest, framed by sand, Norman designed to course to flow into the native vegetation. Sloping white faces make up the bunkers which are placed strategically throughout the course.
This 7,200-yard Par 72 was created to maximize the “bump and run” shots about the greens. Average green area on this course runs about 6,300 square feet. Tees and fairways are GN-1, approach areas are Tifdwarf grass, and the greens: Champion UltraDwarf grass.
In 2010, this course was ranked in Golf Digest’s “Top 60 Course in Myrtle Beach.” Seven holes hug the Intracoastal Waterway. This course is popular with North Myrtle Beach real estate owners.
