Midtown Bistro offers Italian-inspired cuisine in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Chef and owner Jeff Martini has created a restaurant where “simple food and simple prices” are the norm. Located adjacent to Azalea Sands Golf Club, this quaint restaurant offers delectable food at reasonable prices.
Whether you stop by for lunch or dinner, residents of North Myrtle Beach real estate claim that the portions are huge and the service, incredible. Locals also rave about the excellent happy hour prices and the jazz pianist.
Newly remodeled, the Midtown Bistro serves up a variety of excellent dishes in North Myrtle Beach. From appetizers such as fish medallions encrusted in parmesan and jalapeno bread crumbs to salads including an exquisite Caprese and the spinach salad topped with sautéed mushroom, bacon, sliced egg, and warm apple wood bacon vinaigrette.
Before dinner is served, there is bread. Amazing bread.
Then come the entrees. Steak Diane is a fine dish of filet medallions pan sautéed, finished with a Diane sauce of cognac, cream, butter and mushrooms, served with mashed potatoes, that will blow your mind. The Seafood Newburg will delight…shrimp and scallops pan sautéed and placed in a puff pastry finished with a Newburg sauce of brandy, sherry, butter and cream, served with mashed potatoes.
It truly doesn’t get more decadent than that.
Each weekday night has a different special. Local favorites include the chicken parmesan, lasagna, and it’s been heard around town that the amount of scallops and shrimp in the Seafood Pomodoro is inconceivable.
