The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.) is an organization dedicated to wildlife education through entertaining interactive programs. The Preservation Station at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach is your chance to get face-to-face with 500 pound adult tigers—with just a piece of glass between you. You can also interact with tiger cubs and apes here.
The Preservation Station is a live tiger exhibit fund-raiser for the conservation projects of the Rare Species Fund. This free experience is an opportunity of a lifetime. At the Preservation Station you will see Royal White Bengal tigers, Bengal tigers, and the rarest tiger in the world, the Golden Tabby tiger playing and relaxing in an environment that is outdoors.
Professional photographers are on-hand to help you capture these moments. Cuddle up with a baby tiger or a young ape—all proceeds going to support the Rare Species Fund and its international wildlife conservation projects.
